Use of this website by exhibitors who advertise articles for sale via our online platform, The Decorative Fair Online, is governed by separate contracts between us and the exhibitors.  Please see here if you are an exhibitor interested in advertising with us.

Please read these terms and conditions in full before you use this website.  If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this website.  By using this website you accept these terms and conditions.

We do occasionally update these terms and conditions so please refer back to them in the future.

1. WEBSITE ACCESS

1.1. You will be able to access the majority of this website without having to register any details with us.

1.2. However, if you wish to contact one of the exhibitors advertising on The Decorative Fair Online, you will need to provide details about yourself as requested in the buyer enquiry form and if you wish to create a list of favourite items on The Decorative Fair Online, you will need to register to set up an account.

2. USE OF WEBSITE

2.1. You are permitted to use this website for your own purposes and to print and download material from this website provided that you do not modify any content without our prior written consent.

2.2. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in this website and in all material on this website are owned by us or our licensors and must not be reproduced without our prior written consent.

2.3 Subject to paragraph 2.1, no part of this website or the material on it may be reproduced, republished, sold, rented, sub-licensed, shown, exploited for commercial purposes or redistributed without our prior written permission.

3. WEBSITE UPTIME

3.1. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that this website is available 24 hours every day, 365 days per year. However, websites do sometimes encounter downtime due to server and other technical issues.  Therefore we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time.

3.2. This website may be temporarily unavailable due to issues such as system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control. Where possible we will try to give our visitors advance warning of maintenance issues but shall not be obliged to do so.

4. VISITOR CONDUCT

4.1. With the exception of personal data, the use of which is covered under our Privacy and Cookies Notice, any material you send or post to this website shall be considered non-proprietary and not confidential. Unless you advise to the contrary we will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material for any and all purposes.

5. VISITOR ACCOUNTS

The Decorative Fair Online – Whereas at The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair in Battersea Park all articles offered for sale by exhibitors will have been submitted for inspection by members of our Standards Committee to ensure that, as far as possible, they conform to our Standards Criteria, we regret that this is not the case for The Decorative Fair Online. The Organisers of The Decorative Fair Online do not in any way hold themselves responsible for, nor warrant, the authenticity or age of any article exhibited.  Visitors to The Decorative Fair Online pages of this website should exercise and rely on their own judgement on these matters.  The normal relationship of seller and buyer and the relevant laws and regulations apply between any exhibitor and any buyer.  Buyers are advised to ask for a detailed invoice and receipt when making a purchase and must ensure that they are happy with the description of the object(s) purchased as this saves any misunderstanding after the event.

9. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

9.1. Neither we nor any other party (whether or not involved in producing, maintaining or delivering this website), shall be liable or responsible for any kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party as a result of your or their use of this website. This exclusion shall include servicing or repair costs and, without limitation, any other direct, indirect or consequential loss, and whether in tort or contract or otherwise in connection with this website.
