Biscuit Barrel
The Biscuit Barrel of novelty form in the shape of a antique military drum with an Oak shell, silver plate batter head and base. The side of drum is finished with realistic silver plate snare support simulated ties. The handle of the biscuit barrel is formed as a leather strap with buckle to one size and is finished with a music sheet and drum sticks to the lid acting as the handle. The inside of the barrel is lined in ceramic and is stamped to the lid with a 0, start and numbers 34. The Military Drum Biscuit Barrel is firmly attributed to Daniel and Arter after several models we have previously sold stamped D&A. The Drum dates to the turn of the 20th century at the end of the Victorian period around 1900 Art Nouveau
