The lighter of typical half-giant form with a central band of lucite decorated with aquarium scenes featuring fish, foliage and rockery. The lighter is fitted with the iconic McMurdo tilt top petrol arm and signed to the base McMurdo with the patent number 590958. The McMurdo Aquarium Table Lighter dates to the middle of the 20th century circa 1950.
