ABOUT
This is a beautiful Persian carpet in a very useful size. It has a restrained and elegant all-over design on a midnight-blue field. Note the wonderful powder-blue which brings the composition to life. The brown dye has corroded in places, as one would expect on a mid-19th century carpet, and has created an interesting three-dimensional effect, especially in the borders. Cleaned and professionally restored.
