Vintage-Preowned, COCO & CHANEL Logo dark red-silver gloves from the Fall/Winter 1992, a very rare unique Runway collector piece, a rare ARCHIVAL fashion piece from Karl Lagerfeld heritage. The COCO & CHANEL logo gloves were used during the catwalk 1991-1992 in Paris and these ones are from a private collection from Karl Lagerfeld private Assistant during that time. In excellent vintage condition, these gloves are still attached together with a thin red silk-cotton thread. Signed CHANEL, Size 7, made in France.

A stunning, VERY RARE, COLLECTOR, ARCHIVAL PIECE, a Coco Chanel red-silver gloves from the Fall/Winter catwalk 1991-1992. Handcrafted from soft leather kidskin (young goat skin), suede-velvet in dark red and silver colour with silk lining. The COCO CHANEL logo gloves are embroidered in silver letters on both of the gloves. One glove features the logo “COCO” in silver on the index of the red suede-velvet glove, while on the the other glove displays the full logo “CHANEL” on the index in silver flashy lettering completed with a black faux-fur cuffs. This design is influenced by the 1970s winter sportswear ski-inspired, it is an iconic elements from Karl Lagerfeld’s accessories. The Story Behind: Chanel began to add gloves and accessories for snow into its luxury ready-to-wear collections, notably under the impetus of Karl Lagerfeld, who extensively developed the “Sports & Ski” collections in the 1980s and 1990s. Although the brand acquired the specialist glove maker Causse in 2012, high-end winter accessories have been part of the brand’s DNA for several decades.

“The Causse workshop is a long-standing partner of Karl Lagerfeld and the Chanel design studio for his haute couture and ready-to-wear collections,” Causse produced gloves in Millau (Aveyron) in France.: They are a rare and Traditional French gloves maker. Four generations of the family have succeeded one another at the helm of Causse gloves. The acquisition of Causse (a company founded in 1892) by Chanel’s subsidiary Paraffection in 2012 strengthened the production of high-end gloves, including technical models for snow.
