Each Candlestick has a Slender, Baluster-Shaped Opaline Stem, the Vibrant Colour Contrasting Beautifully with the Bright Gilding.
The Ormolu Mounts are Exquisitely Detailed: the Nozzles are Modelled as Open Flower Heads with Leaf Tips, Resting on Circular Foliate Drip Pans;the Bases are Cast with Naturalistic Flowers, Leaves and Scrolling Acanthus, Arranged in a Pierced Rococo Manner, Allowing Light to Play Through.
