Ben Uri uses art very differently. In 2018 it revolutionised the thinking and visitor engagement of how small niche museums can survive and prosper. It launched the first full-scale virtual museum and research centre on the Jewish, Refugee and Immigrant contribution to British visual culture since 1900. Today it runs a vibrant exhibition gallery and extensive art library in St. John’s Wood, NW8 supporting, and supported by, Benuri.org which presents one of the largest art museum web presence in the country with over 1000 works by artists from 40 different countries of birth and 65 exhibitions online.
