From our Tea Caddy Collection, we are pleased to offer this superb Georgian Pair of Satinwood Tea Caddy. The Tea Caddies of elongated elliptical shape beautifully veneered in golden Satinwood with chevron borders inlaid with Ebony and Boxwood and finished with chequered edging. The lids of the Tea Caddies feature an oval inlaid cartouche with blossoming flowers and have a diamond escutcheon finishing the exterior. The interior of the Caddies each have a shaped floating lid with a brass turned handle and silver foil lining. The Pair of Georgian Satinwood Tea Caddies date to the late 18th century during the reign of George II circa 1790.
The Georgian Pair of Satinwood Tea Caddies come complete with working locks and tasselled keys.
