Eversley metallic barkcloth wallpaper by Parker and Jules
The Fair Organisers are excited to be collaborating with wallpaper and textile company Parker and Jules in the Rococo Foyer Display at the Autumn 2023 Fair. They have supplied the wonderful Leopard print used on the wall in the window (which surely Marie Antoinette would have loved for its inspired-by-nature exuberance!) and a very elegant panel of a floral rococo-esque print called Eversley, used inside the stand. Our enormous thanks to them and their team of decorators, Builtain Ltd, who have installed the papers for the Fair.
Here’s some background about Parker and Jules:
Parker and Jules is a Textile and Wallpaper collection founded by a fashion print designer and trend forecaster Nancy Parker alongside designer Jules O’Carroll whose focus is on the history of interiors and colour.
We create contemporary iterations of historic classics to add to our evolving collection of prints which we weave together through colour, scale and style.
Based in the Cotswolds and London we print to order in the UK. We take inspiration from daily life in the country valleys and the pulse of life in the city, from fashion to exhibitions, to woodland walks and the topography of the land. We combine this with our historical fascination with exotic goods and mythic lands – from Indian Chintz to the Far East.
Parker and Jules Eversley is inspired by rococo-era Spitalfields silk designs
The Decorative Fair has chosen our popular scrolling floral Eversley in a metallic grasscloth for the entrance foyer, we offer this as a parchment wallpaper and fabric as well – across 3 colourways. This design was inspired by the 18th century fascination with Chinoiserie and Rococo which were often interwoven in charming schemes, usually for bedrooms and more intimate spaces. We love how the foyer combines this with our coral pink Leopard print wallpaper and wallpaper borders – 18th century trend setters would approve we think.
