This ultra rare amazing vintage Chanel chunky chain link interlaced patent leather choker is the original FIRST PROTOTYPE example that was designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Chanel fashion show 1995 Spring-Summer Collection. It is a very rare choker and only a few were later produced for sale at Chanel. This choker was worn during the fashion show and it was later passed on to one of Karl Lagerfeld’s close Assistants. It is a part of the KARL LAGERFELD Legacy. Handcrafted with 24k chunky gold plated links chain in a brushed finish with interlaced black patent leather and set with a large front central medallion decorated with pink and clear Swarovski crystals in the iconic CC logo. Closing with a large rear hook fastening, this necklace is not adjustable. Later chokers that was produced after the runway had a small adjustable rear chain and collection number plate. A fine string of Moon and Stars beads from the Dogon people of Mali with a stunning Millefiori trade bead . The  black Dogon Beads are hand made in Mali and are 19th Century.
