This ultra rare amazing vintage Chanel chunky chain link interlaced patent leather choker is the original FIRST PROTOTYPE example that was designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Chanel fashion show 1995 Spring-Summer Collection. It is a very rare choker and only a few were later produced for sale at Chanel. This choker was worn during the fashion show and it was later passed on to one of Karl Lagerfeld’s close Assistants. From our Tea Caddy collection, we are delighted to offer this Georgian Green Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy. The Tea Caddy is finished in vibrant green Tortoiseshell veneer to the exterior with ivory stringing, canted corners, a silver vacant initial plaque and silver escutcheon. The interior of the Tea Caddy is faced in Boxwood surrounding the two tortoiseshell-fitted lids mounted with turned handles. Removing the lids reveals the tea storage compartments with the visual signs of the silver foil lining. The tea caddy dates to the Georgian period during the reign of George III (1760-1820) Circa 1790.
